Size & Weight
Each bag contains 2 cubic feet of mulch, enough to cover 8 square feet at a depth of 3 inches. The weight of a mulch bag varies significantly depending on whether the mulch has absorbed water from recent rain or humidity.
Delivery & Pickup Options
Delivery is free if you live within 5 miles of Norwood, Ohio! Friendly scouts and adult volunteers will deliver mulch to your yard at no additional charge, and place the bags wherever you wish. Deliveries take place April 13th and 14th. A small delivery charge applies to customers outside this area. If you do not wish to take advantage of our free delivery service, you may also pick up your order from our staging area on Montgomery Road in Norwood between 10am and 6pm April 13th or 14th. The address will be sent to you shortly before April 13th.
Need Help Spreading Your Mulch?
If you’d like help spreading your mulch, please inquire with your scout salesperson or contact us at lyzdietz@gmail.com or call 513-778-4185. You will be able to negotiate a reasonable fee and schedule a time with a scout. We cannot guarantee the availability of scouts for this service, as they must also balance these requests with their family and school commitments.
Changes, Cancellation & Refunds
If you need to change or cancel your order, please email lyzdietz@gmail.com or call 513-778-4185 by April 7th. If you have paid in advance, a full refund will be issued. If there are any problems or questions with the mulch or spreading services arranged with scouts, please contact the same email or phone number above.
